The U.S. Colombian Medical Association is a not for profit
Organization of physicians and dentists with license in the
USA.
The Association promotes scientific, educational, cultural
and charitable activities in Colombia and the USA. It also
strengthens and stimulates fraternal and scientific ties among
physicians and dentists in the USA, Colombian Medical Schools
and related scientific groups.
Created in 1981 in Texas by Enrique Molano, MD. and Hugo Ramirez,
MD. and incorporated in 1984 in Miami.
President: Marco Danon, M.D. (2008 - 2009)
The U.S.Colombian Medical Association has 8 regions and 19
regional directors throughout the USA.
The Central Office is located in Coral Gables, Florida.
The main objectives are accomplished by the followings Committees:
National Scientific, Local Scientific, Publications, Membership,
annual Congress, Goal Objectives and Bylaws and Auxiliary.
The next Annual Congress will be held in Punta Cana, July
16th - 20th 2003.
